Study Activity

Degree in Medicine and Surgery with the Università degli studi of Florence the 4/2/74. Specialized in Urology with the Università degli Studi of Genoa the 7/11/84. Certificate of scientific degree with the Free University of Bruxelles for the course organized by the WHO on METHODS OF MEDICAL STATISTIC AND EPIDEMIOLOGY the 7/14/88. Specialized in Preventive Hygiene and Medicine with the Università degli Studi of Florence the 10/30/2001. Diploma of Traditional Acupuncture with the Traditional Acupuncture School of the City of Florence the 6/2/96.

Work Activity

Assistant Surgeon, then Urologist with the S. Giovanni di Dio Hospital of Florence. From 1986 to 1989 I have performed medical civil service as voluntary in the Cooperation Project n. 665/A/COSPE/DOM/, develop rural integrated Zambrana Chacuey in the Dominican Republic. From 1991 with the Tuscan Region, I coordinated the Reference Centre for the struggle against aids and reorganized the epidemiological monitoring by means of the expansion of the Tuscan register for aids. Founder Partner of SFIDA, HIV/aids help, Founder Member of FORUM AIDS ITALIA. From 1997 to 2003 Medical Executive with the Sanitary Direction of the Azienda Sanitaria of Florence. From 1997 to 2005 Contract Teacher with the School of Specialization in Preventive Hygiene and Medicine for tutoring and teaching activities in the Public Health Department of the Università degli Studi of Florence.

Experiences in the field

Ever since the University years, I committed my free time in sporting-recreational activities such as karate, body expression, psychomotion, eutony, ending up with the exercise related to the Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi gong and Taijiquan . I have been practising Yang style Taijiquan since 1999. I have been studying the Yang Family Style since 2001. In July 2001 I sojourned one month in Seattle (US) and I had the opportunity to study with Master Yang Jun, Chairman of the International Association and direct descendant of the Yang family, 6ª generation.

I have gotten 2nd Rank (silver eagle) in the method of evaluation of the international association of the Yang style taijiquan, Seattle March the 6th, 2004. I have been assisting my sister, Roberta Lazzeri from October 2002 to December 2005 in her courses held in Florence. I take part every year in the adjournment seminars of the international association held by Master Yang Zhenduo and Master Yang Jun.
From 2006 I live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where I practice Acupuncture and teach Taijiquan.
I have gotten 3th Rank (gold eagle) in January 2011. From January 2011 I am International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association Affiliated Instructor.
